There are two public seating areas. As you enter the hotel there is a small sun porch with a wonderful sea view. The glass door can be closed for privacy or, as in the winter, to keep the heat in. Between the sun porch and the reception there is the entrance lounge with banquette seating for ten people, with more seating for four around our real flame gas fire. The cocktail bar is off the entrance lounge, so even if you have children, you can still enjoy a drink out in these seating areas.

There is a veranda at the front of the hotel overlooking the rockery and pond, where guests may take their drinks and sit in the sunshine during the summer months. On a warm sunny summer evening there is no better way to end the day than sitting with glass in hand watching the view.
